GENERAL: These terms apply to individual guests. For groups of more then three canoes special terms apply. We cannot receive groups larger than eight canoes due to restrictions in The Rights of Public Access.

ONLINE BOOKING: for online booking special terms apply.

THE BOOKING is binding both for the orderer and for Sandvikengården once it has been confirmed. Confirmation is done either orally, by email, or in writing. An agreement reached over the phone is deemed confirmed, and thus binding. At the time of booking, name, phone number and email address (when applicable) should be given.

EMAIL: email bookings always need to be confirmed by the canoe centre to be valid.

CHECK-IN TIME: 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.

CHECK-OUT TIME: 7 p.m. at the latest.

RETURN OF EQUIPMENT: the guest is financially accountable for damaged and lost equipment. All equipment should be clean and in working condition when returned.

TRANSPORTATION: we usually begin the transportation to the starting point at 10 a.m., but other times can be arranged. If another transportation time is needed please notify Sandvikengården at least one week in advance. If transportation is needed at the end of the trip, it must be booked at least three hours in advance. We can arrange return transportation between 12:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

CANCELLATION AND LATE ARRIVAL: cancellation must be done before 10 a.m. the day before the planned arrival, unless otherwise agreed. Late cancellation will incur half the agreed fee. This also applies when failing to show up.

PREMATURE TERMINATION: no part of the fee is returned if the trip is prematurely terminated.

PAYMENT: payment is due at check-in or, if agreed upon, to one of our giro accounts no later than 10 days prior to arrival. Sandvikengården’s Plusgiro account is 64 19 49 – 3, and Bankgiro account is 729-6353  (Iban SE3280000008431932047110 Swiftkod SWEDSESS).

LIABILITY: Sandvikengården assumes no liability for any injury sustained by renters or for any damage or injury done to others by renters during the canoeing trip. All canoeing is done at the renters’ own risk. It is your own responsibility to study the route and to adjust the trip to current weather conditions and water levels. However, do not hesitate to ask us if you have any questions.

FORCE MAJEURE: if the trip cannot be completed due to forces beyond Sandvikengården’s control that cannot reasonably have been foreseen when the agreement was made, and whose consequences cannot reasonably have been avoided or anticipated, Sandvikengården is not liable to pay any damages or suffer any other consequences. This also applies if the cancellation is caused by someone hired by Sandvikengården or by someone in an earlier stage of the transaction.

All agreements are subject to legal amendments and price changes beyond our control.
